In a disturbing incident, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Islamia University in Bahawalpur (IUB), Ijaz Shah, has been found in possession of 5500 obscene videos and pictures of university students and the matter has caused outrage on social media.
According to the details, the police has arrested several staff members of Islamia University in Bahawalpur (IUB) as part of the crackdown against the people involved in the possession of obscene videos and images of students.
The arrests began after the university’s Chief Security Officer (CSO), Ijaz Shah, was detained during a search near a police checkpoint and found possession of drugs as well as several thousand obscene videos of university students.
Based on reports, the CSO was in possession of eight grams of ice (crystal methamphetamines) and upon searching his mobile phones, the police found 5500 obscene videos and pictures of university girls.
It has been revealed that the accused was a part of a gang at Islamia University in Bahawalpur (IUB) that asked girls to fulfil their sexual desires in exchange for scholarships, top position and passing marks, while also using these nude videos and picture to blackmail them.
However, it bears mentioning that most girls were forced to provide sexual favors otherwise they are tortured and beaten. Furthermore, the girls who have fallen victim to these animals belonged to a poor background, who were promised scholarships in return for sexual favors and recorded the videos that were used to blackmail them later.
Furthermore, the police has also taken the university’s Finance Director Abu Bakar and Transport Incharge Muhammad Altaf, who was found in possession of several drugs and 400 obscene videos of student girls, into custody.
One of the students who fell victim to the harassment has come forth and given a statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University in Bahawalpur has written a letter to Punjab Inspector General (IG) and denied all allegations, saying that people who are afraid of the university’s progress are trying to defame it.
However, the university has formed an internal committee to probe the matter ahead of which, the suspects have been suspended. The university has also announced to conduct drug tests of all employees, including the VC himself.
