There are reports of girls who allegedly went missing from Riphah University in Islamabad and a threat letter has come to light stating that more students and teachers will be kidnapped for promoting vulgarity. According to the details, three girls from Riphah University have allegedly gone missing so far, while body of one girl was found in a dumpster raped and murdered near the girl campus located in Gulberg Greens Islamabad. However, there is no proof to the claims so far and fake pictures of dead bodies are being used on social media. It could be possible that entire matter is made up by someone.

Riphah University Trends On Twitter As Girls Allegedly Go Missing

It is pertinent to mention that Riphah University had recently moved the girls campus to the Gulberg Greens in Islamabad, an area which is under development and deserted. The three girls allegedly went missing from the campus, while body on one of them was found later near the campus.

Alleged Threat Letter Found by Students of Riphah University

Meanwhile, the student of Riphah University have allegedly found a threat letter near the campus stating that more girls will be abducted for spreading vulgarity in the country. “There is plan to kidnap twelve girls and five teachers from the hostels near Riphah University.” said the threat letter.

“We have kidnapped two girls from G-13.” the letter stated. “We need to stop the vulgarity being spread in the name of Aurat March. It is better to walk around nude than to wear tights.” the letter added while threatening that “if we find anyone wearing tights or jeans, their heads will be cut off and displayed on Kashmir Highway and Golra Chowk.”

“Make sure your kids don’t wear tight dresses or you will be responsible for the consequences. We have created a network all over Pakistan and we are monitoring girls’ hostels and universities.” stated the letter. “It is a request to Pakistanis to be good Muslims and not roam around without dupatta and end the western fashion.”

Police Seen at Riphah University Amid These Reports

Furthermore, there are videos of police officers reportedly coming to Riphah University amid the reports of these girls going missing from the campus hostels. However, there are no confirmed reports on the incident from any media channel.

Fake Pictures of Dead Bodies

It bears mentioning that pictures of dead bodies being shared on Twitter are fake. According to our research, the pictures are from another incident that occurred near Kallar Kahar, where dead bodies of a mother and daughter were dumped after being shot dead last month.

The #RipahUniversity murder story seems to be fake, the pictures belong to a mother-daughter from Attock whose bodies were found on motorway on 27th of April, motorway police vehicle can be seen in the background. pic.twitter.com/0hAQCujkzu

Trending on Social Media

Meanwhile, #RiphahUniversity is trending on Twitter with netizens demanding Islamabad Police to issue a clarification on the matter regarding the students going missing from Riphah University. People have started demanding urgent action against those responsible and justice for the girls.

News coming out of #RiphahUniversity is beyond terrifying & beyond comprehension. Urgent action must be taken against the culprits & support must be provided to students & the families of victims.
