ASUS Unveils AirVision M1 Wearable to Rival Apple's Vision Pro

ASUS unveiled a standout product, the AirVision M1, at CES 2024, introducing a wearable screen housed within a pair of glasses. This innovation, bearing similarities to the Apple Vision Pro, positions itself as a potential competitor in the market.

The AirVision M1’s micro OLED panel delivers Full HD resolution with a 57-degree vertical field of view, providing users with a virtual big screen experience right in front of their eyes. The wearable, equipped with built-in speakers, relies on a wired DisplayPort connection to showcase content from a partner computer or smartphone. A touchpad on the left temple facilitates screen adjustments, allowing users to pin select screens to specific locations.

Despite the resemblance in name to the Apple Vision Pro, the AirVision M1 distinguishes itself as chunky glasses rather than a proper headset, emphasizing functionality over fashion.

ASUS has yet to disclose pricing and availability details, but it is anticipated to be competitively priced compared to its Apple counterpart. With its unique features, the AirVision M1 marks ASUS’s foray into wearable technology, complementing its diverse product lineup showcased at CES 2024. Stay tuned for updates on this intriguing addition to ASUS’s offerings.
