The Government has launched the Ehsaas Raabta App on Thursday after the work on the National Data Exchange Portal (NDEP) was concluded. The Ehsaas Raabta App is designed help beneficiaries and provide them with information regarding the initiatives of the Ehsaas Program.
The Ehsaas Raabta App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
National Data Exchange Portal
The National Data Exchange Portal (NDEP) for the Ehsaas’ National Socioeconomic Registry is one of the six main pillars of Ehsaas One Window and it empowers the implementing agencies of Ehsaas to ascertain the benefits an individual or a family is getting by just using the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of an individual.
Furthermore, the benefits that are being received by each family under the Ehsaas Program will also be visible to all implementing agencies under the programme. “In the past, there was no way for one government agency to know what support an individual or a family was getting from another government agency.” said Dr Sania Nishtar, adding that some families with connections and influence were getting multiple benefits than other more deserving ones.
The data sharing under NDEP will be safeguarded through the Cognitive API Architecture approach and the data sharing will be two-way, meaning agencies with whom data is shared will be required to update the registry with their own information.
Ehsaas Raabta App
The Ehsaas Raabta App is designed to guide the common man / beneficiary of the Ehsaas Program about the different aspects of the initiative through an Android-based application, which is available on the Google Play Store. The information provided by the Ehsaas Raabta App is available in Urdu, which makes it easier for everyone to understand.
Through the Ehsaas Raabta App, any beneficiary or potential beneficiary wanting to know about his/her entitlement for various benefits under the Ehsaas Program can go to the Ehsaas 8171 Web Portal Section. They can use their CNIC number or scan their Ehsaas Card QR code to look at the entitlements for their family under the Ehsaas Program.
The Ehsaas Raabta App aims to make the whole process of getting information about the Ehsaas Program much simpler for everyone through its user-friendly interface and use of Urdu language, which is understood by everyone much better than English.
The app will provide information about the diverse Ehsaas Programs, including Ehsaas Kafalat Program, Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif, Ehsaas Rashan Riayat, Ehsaas Nashonuma, Ehsaas Survey, Ehsaas Registration Desk, Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship, Ehsaas Interest-Free Loan, Ehsaas Bachat Account, Ehsaas Amdan, Dar-ul-Ehsaas, Ehsaas Panagah, Ehsaas Langar, Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye, One Window Ehsaas, Ehsaas Tahafuz and several others.
